Medical Representative

About the role

The Medical Representative will promote Hikma pharmaceutical products to doctors and other healthcare professionals across Kuwait. The role focuses on building strong relationships, increasing product awareness, and achieving sales targets while monitoring market competition.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily visits to healthcare professionals to present assigned products and convey company messages.
• Assess the needs of doctors and patients to position product benefits effectively.
• Utilise selling techniques and cost‑benefit analysis to communicate the brand value proposition.
• Maintain up‑to‑date disease and product knowledge within the assigned therapeutic area.
• Organise and deliver conferences, lectures, and product presentations.
• Build trustful relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance Hikma’s image.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and sales performance to identify opportunities.
• Prepare and submit timely reports, including business intelligence, market surveys, and event feedback.
• Enter accurate sales data into the CRM system daily for supervisory review.
• Adhere to SOPs and compliance frameworks while managing company resources.

Required profile

• B.Sc. degree in Pharmacy (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience in Kuwait, preferably in cardiovascular (CVD) products.
• Strong communication, influence, initiative, planning, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to analyse data, develop marketing plans, and meet sales targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for daily data entry and reporting.
