About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Allergan Aesthetics is a non‑promotional, field‑based scientific expert who supports the medical and scientific objectives of AbbVie’s aesthetic portfolio across the product life‑cycle. The role focuses on building scientific credibility with key opinion leaders and facilitating robust scientific exchange on disease‑state topics and product information.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop trusted relationships with external experts and KOLs within the assigned geography.
• Conduct balanced, peer‑to‑peer scientific dialogue to inform on AbbVie’s marketed and pipeline products.
• Deliver credible scientific presentations and address medical or scientific knowledge gaps when requested.
• Plan and lead MSL‑led meetings and scientific speaker sessions for healthcare professionals.
• Collect and report medical and scientific field intelligence, including competitor activities and emerging developments.

Required profile

• Non‑promotional scientific expertise in the aesthetics therapeutic area.
• Strong business acumen, market awareness, and clinical expertise.
• Ability to act as a peer scientific expert and conduit of information to internal cross‑functional teams.
• Member of the Medical Affairs team with collaborative mindset.
