MGI JetVarnish 3D Spot UV / iFoil Digital Printing Machine Operator

About the role

This full‑time hybrid position is based in Al Asimah, Kuwait, operating MGI JetVarnish 3D and iFoil digital printing equipment. The operator will set up, run, and monitor machines to produce high‑quality spot UV and foiled prints while supporting production planning and administrative tasks remotely when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare job files, calibrate machines and perform test runs to ensure accurate registration and colour consistency.
• Operate MGI JetVarnish 3D and iFoil equipment, monitor production, and maintain detailed production records.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical or software issues, and coordinate with pre‑press and design teams.
• Follow safety procedures, support continuous improvement of workflows, and help meet deadlines and customer expectations.

Required profile

• Experience operating digital finishing equipment, preferably MGI JetVarnish 3D, iFoil or similar spot UV/foiling machines.
• Strong technical knowledge of machine setup, calibration, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Understanding of print quality control, colour management, registration and finishing standards.
• Ability to read job tickets, production specifications and digital files from design teams.
• Good organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast‑paced environment.
