About the role
The Multi‑Property Assistant Accounting Manager supports the finance team across multiple hotel properties, ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of invoices and statements.
Key responsibilities
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
- Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents according to policies.
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
- Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers, or computers.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports.
- Complete period‑end closing procedures and reports as specified.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
- Follow up on past‑due accounts and vendor invoices until resolved.
- Coordinate tasks with other departments and act as a role model or mentor.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of related accounting or finance experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
