OCN Monitor/Escort

About the role

As the OCN/LN Monitor (Escort) you will escort un‑cleared personnel into restricted areas and monitor them while work is performed. You will log in and out all LN/OCN contractors, count personnel before and after duties, and notify appropriate staff of the number of people and vehicles being escorted.

Key responsibilities

• Provide escort coverage for Local National (LN) and Other Country National (OCN) personnel throughout their work shift.
• Contact LN/OCN personnel at the entry facility after processing, issue exchange badges, and brief them on base rules and procedures.
• Escort LN/OCN personnel until the work zone is cleared by trained Force Protection military personnel and ensure they exit the base or return to camps.
• Prevent prohibited or contraband items (e.g., weapons, drugs) from being brought onto the base.
• Maintain visual contact with all escorted vehicles and personnel at all times.
• Ensure safety and welfare of both yourself and the escorted personnel, including evacuation to protective shelter if required.
• Report unsafe working conditions promptly to the Project/Site Manager and Safety staff.
• Maintain alert readiness, report suspicious behavior, and adhere to strict housekeeping practices.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and a valid U.S. passport (preferred).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to meet all current USCENTCOM deployment policy requirements.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a valid residency visa in the host nation.
• Capability to work in extreme environmental conditions, including dust, high temperatures, and hazardous weather.
• Willingness to endure long hours, exposure to weather, and hazardous conditions.
• Readiness for 100 % overseas deployment.
• Ability to obtain a NACI/Public Trust security clearance.
