On Site Support Engineer (Kuwait)

About the role

The On Site Support Engineer will provide hands‑on technical assistance across multiple locations in Kuwait. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers and client machines, as well as ensuring the reliability of networking and power infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure Microsoft Windows Server and client operating systems.
• Deploy system images, manage updates, and execute release roll‑outs.
• Install and configure MS‑SQL databases and support custom applications, including troubleshooting and log collection.
• Install, support, and troubleshoot hardware such as workstations, printers, and kiosk machines.
• Install, route, and terminate structured cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT7, RS232, RS485) and perform cable testing.
• Perform basic electrical measurements and install/terminate UPS systems.
• Conduct site surveys, assess installation sites, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with team members to meet project timelines and provide on‑call after‑hours support as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a closely related technical role.
• Valid Kuwait residence permit and driving licence with personal vehicle.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• Willingness to travel to multiple physical sites and participate in on‑call rotations.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows Server and client OS installation and configuration.
• System imaging and update deployment.
• MS‑SQL installation and basic configuration.
• Hardware installation and troubleshooting (PCs, printers, kiosks).
• Structured cabling installation, termination, and testing (CAT5e/CAT6/CAT7, RS232, RS485).
• Electrical measurement tools (multimeter, clamp meter).
• UPS installation and cable termination.
