Operations Assistant Manager – Delivery Operations

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Operations Assistant Manager to support daily delivery operations, supervise drivers and supervisors, and ensure efficient business processes within our delivery company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily delivery activities.
• Supervise and coordinate delivery drivers, team leaders, and field supervisors.
• Monitor driver attendance, performance, productivity, and delivery targets.
• Ensure timely order deliveries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with restaurants, clients, customer service teams, and other departments.
• Monitor fleet operations, vehicle availability, maintenance, and driver assignments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and track KPIs.
• Handle operational issues, customer complaints, and driver-related concerns.
• Maintain company policies, procedures, and delivery service standards.
• Update operational records in the Odoo system and recommend improvements.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of delivery drivers when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in delivery operations, logistics, or fleet management.
• Experience in a food delivery company is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage drivers, supervisors, and operational teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational tasks.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Odoo ERP or similar operational management system.
• Microsoft Excel for reporting.
