Operations Coordinator – Freight Forwarding

About the role

The Operations Coordinator will support the end‑to‑end movement of sea, air and land freight shipments for a busy freight forwarding operation in Kuwait. You will act as the main point of contact between customers, shipping lines, airlines, agents and transporters to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate sea, air, and land freight shipments.
• Follow up with shipping lines, airlines, agents, and transporters to confirm bookings and schedules.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, invoices, packing lists and delivery orders.
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates to customers.
• Coordinate customs clearance and final delivery with brokers and local transporters.
• Resolve operational issues and ensure timely movement of goods.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and generate operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant shipping regulations.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding or related transportation roles.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with shipping lines, airlines, agents and customers.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to prepare and verify shipping documentation accurately.
• Proactive problem‑solver capable of handling operational issues quickly.
• Good organizational skills to maintain records and produce reports.
