Operations Manager – Fleet and Garage Operations

About the role

The company is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead fleet, heavy equipment, trucks, drivers and garage activities in Kuwait. You will ensure efficient vehicle utilization, maintenance planning and compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of trucks, heavy vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and availability.
• Manage drivers, operators and garage staff, including scheduling, performance monitoring and workforce allocation.
• Supervise garage activities such as preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and breakdown management.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and control costs.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle performance, maintenance expenses and equipment utilisation.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet assets, maintenance history, fuel usage, driver assignments and operating costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Transportation, Logistics or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in fleet management, heavy equipment operations or garage management.
• Proven experience managing trucks, heavy vehicles, construction equipment, drivers and workshop teams.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, organisational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with fleet management systems.
