Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager is responsible for all operational activities in the assigned country for a leading food & beverage / quick‑service restaurant organization. The role partners with the business‑unit lead, provides regular management reports, and oversees new store openings, renovations and overall performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute tactics to maintain market leadership, monitor competition and analyse performance tools such as ROCC, GES and training audits.
• Partner with support functions (marketing, engineering, supply chain) to ensure timely service delivery, manage new store openings, site selection and renovation schedules.
• Drive sales growth by reviewing trends, recommending new delivery zones or car‑hop concepts and collaborating on promotional tactics.
• Lead P&L management with focus on EBITDA, approve annual CAPEX and labour budgets, and implement profit‑maximising initiatives.
• Coach and develop chain managers, set performance objectives, conduct weekly sales reviews and recognise top‑performing restaurants.
• Promote a customer‑centric culture through guest‑walks, service recovery standards and continuous improvement of GES metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; postgraduate business studies or MBA preferred.
• Minimum six years of experience in modern operational and business methods within the food & beverage sector.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken); strong communication, emotional intelligence and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data analysis and reporting.
