Operations Manager – Waste Collection & Logistics

About the role

We are a fast‑growing fintech environmental services company expanding our waste‑collection network across the GCC. We seek a highly organized, field‑oriented Operations Manager to lead daily collection activities, logistics coordination, and operational growth in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily waste‑collection operations for commercial accounts in Kuwait.
• Supervise drivers, helpers, field teams, and warehouse staff.
• Plan collection routes and optimise logistics efficiency.
• Ensure timely service at customer locations while maintaining high service standards.
• Monitor collection volumes, operational KPIs, fuel usage, and team productivity.
• Coordinate maintenance and readiness of trucks, drums, trolleys, and collection equipment.
• Handle customer operational issues and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Support scaling operations as new clients and collection sites are onboarded.
• Prepare operational reports for management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in operations, logistics, waste management, recycling, FMCG distribution, or field service management.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Proven experience managing drivers and field operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve operational problems quickly.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Strong organisational and reporting skills.
• Valid Kuwait driving licence preferred.
• Experience in waste collection or environmental services is a major advantage.
