Pediatric Speech Therapist

About the role

The Pediatric Speech Therapist will provide comprehensive, evidence‑based assessment and therapy to infants, children, and adolescents with speech, language, voice, fluency, feeding, and swallowing challenges. Working within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, the therapist will deliver family‑centered care and support home‑program carryover.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough speech, language, feeding, and swallowing assessments for pediatric patients.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans, including AAC strategies when needed.
• Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
• Educate parents and caregivers on home programs to reinforce therapy progress.
• Collaborate with medical and allied health professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality and safety audits.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an ASHA‑accredited program.
• At least 3 years of post‑master’s clinical experience working with pediatric populations.
• Experience with complex developmental, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
• Ability to work calmly and diplomatically with children, anxious families, and multidisciplinary teams.
