Pediatric Speech Therapist

About the role

Taiba Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Speech Therapist to provide individualized, evidence‑based therapy for infants, children and adolescents. You will assess and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, feeding and swallowing disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, feeding and swallowing assessments for pediatric patients.
• Deliver individualized therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, feeding, swallowing and AAC needs.
• Support children with ASD, ADHD, DLD, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, hearing impairment and cleft palate.
• Train parents and caregivers on home programs to reinforce therapy progress.
• Partner with medical and allied‑health specialists to ensure holistic, family‑centered care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and assist with audits and safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s in Speech‑Language Pathology (ASHA‑accredited) plus a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years post‑master’s clinical experience in pediatric SLP.
• Advanced knowledge of pediatric assessments and complex developmental/feeding disorders.
• Ability to work calmly and diplomatically with children, anxious parents and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational ability, clear communication and emotional resilience.
