Pharmacist

About the role

The pharmacist ensures safe and accurate medication dispensing while providing expert guidance to patients. This role combines clinical knowledge with excellent customer service to support health and wellness in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and potential drug interactions.
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and storage.
• Provide personalized advice on health, wellness, and medication management.
• Offer guidance on over‑the‑counter medications and minor ailments.
• Conduct medication reviews and manage repeat prescriptions.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Stay updated with changes in pharmacy practice and healthcare policies.
• Handle medication storage, including temperature control and security measures.
• Deliver friendly, professional service and resolve customer inquiries promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Valid MOH pharmacist license in Kuwait.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and medication management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Customer‑focused attitude and commitment to patient care.
