Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Therapy

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient therapy team in Jacksonville. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, supporting a diverse and complex patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with treatment plans in an outpatient setting.
• Demonstrate independence and accountability while following therapist directions.
• Complete all required facility competencies and maintain accurate documentation.
• Adhere to the day‑shift schedule: Monday‑Wednesday, Friday 7:30 am‑5:30 pm; Thursday 7:30 am‑11:30 am.
• Work a bi‑weekly total of 80 authorized hours.

Required profile

• Current Arkansas licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain it upon hire).
• Ability to work the specified day‑shift hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency in outpatient physical therapy techniques.
• Knowledge of patient safety and emergency procedures, including CPR.
