Piping Engineer

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Piping Engineer to join its Kuwait team. The role involves monitoring contractor documentation, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and supporting construction and commissioning activities while maintaining QHSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify contractor requisitions, work packages, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Witness and confirm compliance with design specifications during construction and commissioning.
• Maintain QHSE standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to junior counterparts.
• Act as liaison between client and contractor, reporting to the Resident Engineer.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of mechanical experience in the oil & gas industry.
• 2–5 years of experience in design and construction of onshore plants.
• Familiarity with industry standard codes and construction practices.
• Located in Kuwait and able to work on‑site.
