Plumbing & Fire Fighting Inspector

About the role

Egis is seeking a detail‑oriented Plumbing & Fire Fighting Inspector to join its team in Kuwait. You will be responsible for inspecting plumbing and fire protection systems to ensure they meet all relevant codes, standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, fixtures and related components.
• Inspect fire protection systems such as sprinkler networks, fire alarms, emergency exits and suppression equipment.
• Analyze findings, identify code violations, safety hazards or deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports documenting findings, violations and remediation recommendations.
• Communicate results to property owners, contractors and facility managers.
• Maintain organized records of inspections, test results and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers and other stakeholders to resolve identified issues.
• Stay updated on plumbing and fire safety code changes and industry best practices.
• Testify in legal or administrative proceedings when required.
• Perform follow‑up inspections to verify corrective actions.
