Premium Dining Head Waiter / Head Waitress

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Premium Dining Head Waiter or Head Waitress to lead the service team in our fine‑dining restaurant in Kuwait. The successful candidate will ensure guests receive impeccable service and a memorable culinary experience while managing daily floor operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and make tailored recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS and ensure timely delivery.
• Serve dishes and drinks, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to questions, and handle requests or complaints courteously.
• Process cash and credit‑card transactions, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and well‑set dining area before, during and after service.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to achieve efficient operations.
• Uphold health, safety and restaurant policies at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience as a head waiter or similar role in a fine‑dining environment.
• Proven ability to lead a service team and deliver high‑standard guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Experience with cash handling.
• Familiarity with MICROS point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
