Process Engineer – Oil & Gas Production Optimization

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our Energy Management Services team in Kuwait. The role focuses on monitoring, optimizing and ensuring safe operation of process equipment and production facilities within our oilfield services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize performance and efficiency of process equipment and production facilities.
• Provide technical guidance on process safety and operational risk management.
• Analyze laboratory and plant operating data to identify performance improvements and operational issues.
• Coordinate closely with operations and control room personnel to support safe and efficient plant operations.
• Recommend corrective actions to optimize production performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations to improve process reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety standards and engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical or process industry.
• At least 5 years in a process engineering or operations support role.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering principles and production optimization.
• Experience analyzing plant performance data and troubleshooting process issues.
• Understanding of process safety management and operational risk control.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
