Production Engineer – ForeSite Platform Lead

About the role

The Production Engineer will lead the implementation, integration, and sustainment of the ForeSite – Legacy platform across diverse field types and artificial lift systems. You will provide technical leadership in production optimization, digital workflow design, and multidisciplinary coordination to ensure the digital oil field ecosystem delivers measurable performance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure ForeSite modules for artificial lift types such as SRP, PCP, ESP, and Gas Lift, integrating with SCADA, data historians, and field instrumentation.
• Design and customize digital workflows for well monitoring, alarm management, model updates, well‑test validation, and optimization strategies.
• Analyze well performance, identify optimization opportunities, and support field teams in diagnosing lift system issues.
• Develop and calibrate well models, surface network models, and optimization scenarios in collaboration with operations, field development, and reservoir teams.
• Create technical procedures, SOPs, and user guides; deliver coaching, mentoring, and structured training sessions for engineers and field users.
• Support project planning, milestone tracking, and stakeholder engagement during system rollouts; monitor data connectivity, system uptime, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Prepare technical reports, success stories, and justification documents for system expansion or enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production engineering and artificial lift optimization.
• Experience with ForeSite or similar production optimization tools.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems, real‑time monitoring, and exception‑based surveillance.
• Strong communication, documentation, and technical mentoring capabilities.
