Program Manager

About the role

DirectFN is seeking a senior Program Manager to lead a portfolio of client delivery projects as an integrated programme. The role provides strategic delivery leadership, aligns multiple implementations, and ensures that shared resources and inter‑dependencies are optimally managed to create value for financial‑technology clients.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the programme plan, integrated schedule, shared resource plan and governance framework for related delivery projects.
• Identify, monitor and manage inter‑dependencies, shared milestones and cross‑project risks.
• Chair programme governance forums such as steering committees and coordination meetings.
• Provide oversight and direction to Project Managers, maintaining a consolidated view of programme health, risks, issues and budget utilisation.
• Intervene with delivery leadership support when individual projects encounter significant challenges.
• Serve as senior client relationship owner, engaging with executive sponsors and senior stakeholders.
• Lead client governance meetings, executive briefings and strategic delivery reviews.
• Oversee programme‑level resource planning, allocation and budget monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent delivery projects or programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with executive sponsors and senior client leaders.
• Ability to establish and run programme governance structures and steering committees.
• Experience overseeing resource planning and budget utilisation at a programme level.
• Senior‑level leadership capability to drive complex, multi‑stream engagements.
