Project Controls Engineer – HVAC & Security Systems (Kuwait)

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Controls Engineer to lead the design, commissioning and execution of building automation, HVAC control and security system projects in Kuwait. The role combines strong technical expertise with project management to ensure seamless delivery from concept to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Design, commission and execute Building Management System (BMS) and Integrated BMS (IBMS) projects.
• Implement HVAC control solutions for AHUs, FCUs, chillers and air washers.
• Deploy security solutions including CCTV, access control and time‑and‑attendance systems.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, securing approvals and ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and control issues on site.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients and internal teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation and provide regular project updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controls, HVAC, building automation or related fields.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Valid driver’s license.
