Project Executive – Retail Design & Construction

About the role

The Project Executive will lead all phases of retail store and site development, from schematic design through construction, ensuring that each project meets brand standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. This role also oversees renovation and maintenance of existing stores, coordinating civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry works.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and redesign retail formats in line with customer, mall and market trends.
• Produce complete design packages including floor plans, elevations, HVAC distribution, lighting, graphics and material selections.
• Prepare detailed engineering and interior drawings that comply with company standards.
• Develop store zoning based on product categories and target consumer profiles.
• Review shop drawings and sample submissions, ensuring design intent is maintained.
• Conduct existing‑condition surveys and create architectural base plans, sections and details.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations and Visual Merchandising teams to integrate functional requirements.
• Assist in site selection, prepare survey reports and develop project plans, cost estimates and timelines.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Architecture, Planning & Design, Applied Science or Civil Engineering.
• 7‑8 years of experience in interior/retail store design and project management.
• Strong knowledge of spatial layouts, architectural detailing, construction methodology and civil work estimation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with 3D Max.
• Competence in Photoshop.
