Project Management Leader – Grid Software (MEA)

About the role

Siemens is looking for a senior leader to head project management for its Grid Software business across the Middle East and Africa. You will be responsible for governing the regional project portfolio, ensuring safe, profitable and high‑quality delivery in line with Siemens PM@S standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the regional Project Management authority, driving performance, financial, quality and delivery KPIs.
• Own end‑to‑end governance of the project portfolio, managing risk, escalation and delivery readiness during bidding.
• Ensure consistent application and continuous improvement of PM@S processes aligned with Global PMO standards.
• Serve as senior escalation point for customers, partners and external stakeholders, strengthening confidence through structured governance.
• Optimize resource and capacity planning, develop a high‑performance project culture and address capability gaps.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial performance of the regional portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical and EHS requirements while proactively mitigating project risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Proven senior leadership experience with P&L responsibility and large, complex project portfolios.
• Strong understanding of power‑utility automation, digital solutions and EPC‑based business models.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams across regions.
• Excellent senior‑level customer, stakeholder and negotiation skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PM@S, Six Sigma/Black Belt are preferred.
