Project Manager – 400kV Overhead Transmission Line

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of a 400 kV overhead transmission line (OHL) project in Kuwait. The role requires immediate availability and will involve coordinating all project phases from engineering to commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall execution of the 400 kV OHL project.
• Control scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with client, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, civil works, tower erection, conductor/OPGW stringing, testing and commissioning.
• Monitor progress, ensure milestones are met and resolve technical, commercial and construction issues.
• Review schedules, progress reports, method statements and technical submissions.
• Conduct project meetings and ensure compliance with specifications, standards and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on high‑voltage overhead transmission line projects, preferably 400 kV.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of OHL construction, project planning and contractual management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
• Immediate availability is mandatory.
