Project Manager – IT

About the role

NBK is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects while ensuring compliance with the bank’s standards and governance frameworks. The role involves close coordination with contractors, internal teams, and stakeholders across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complete tender documentation and ensure contractor adherence to NBK standards.
• Develop project plans, quantity surveys, bills of quantities, budgets, estimates, tenders, change orders and payment requisitions.
• Monitor and update progress schedules, job costs and provide periodic revisions to communicate status.
• Conduct coordination meetings, manage documentation, quality control and enforce group project governance.
• Identify and evaluate change orders, assess impacts and recommend approvals.
• Implement internal controls to mitigate security, confidentiality and other project risks.
• Document project closure reports and capture lessons learned.
• Promote compliance with the group change‑governance framework and apply project management standards.
• Analyze deliverables against scope, manage issues and support country‑specific project challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• PMP certification is mandatory.
