Rare Disease Advisor – Kuwait

About the role

Er‑Kim is seeking a passionate Rare Disease Advisor to join its team in Kuwait. You will provide scientific and clinical expertise to shape medical strategies for the company’s rare disease portfolio and work closely with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute medical plans aligned with the rare disease strategy.
• Act as a scientific expert on rare disease therapies, delivering insights to internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups.
• Support clinical development, medical education, and scientific engagement initiatives.
• Provide medical expertise to cross‑functional teams, including commercial, regulatory, and market access.
• Review and ensure accuracy of medical and scientific content in promotional and educational materials.
• Assist medical information and pharmacovigilance activities for rare disease products.
• Monitor and analyse scientific and clinical developments in rare diseases.

Required profile

• Experience in Medical Affairs or Market Access, preferably within rare diseases.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Capability to interpret and convey complex medical and scientific information.
• Proven experience engaging with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in English.
