Recreation Manager – Lead Guest Activities

About the role

As a Recreation Manager at Hilton, you will design and deliver memorable leisure experiences that enhance every guest’s stay. You will lead a team, manage facilities, and collaborate across departments to ensure a vibrant, safe, and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement a diverse portfolio of recreational programs, including water sports, fitness classes, cultural events, and family‑friendly activities.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of all recreation facilities such as pools, fitness centers, sports courts, and related equipment.
• Lead, train, and evaluate a recreation team to maintain high service standards.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve program offerings.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and communicate safety procedures to guests and staff.
• Manage the recreation budget, including procurement, equipment upkeep, and staffing costs.
• Promote recreational programs to guests and encourage participation.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar recreation role within a resort or hotel.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Creative mindset for designing innovative programs.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for recreational activities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
