Regional Procurement Manager

About the role

The Regional Procurement Manager will lead procurement activities for a growing food and retail organization. This role is responsible for creating sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost‑effective, timely acquisition of goods and services across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of procurement experience, preferably in the food and retail industry.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management capabilities.
• Experience handling both local and international procurement activities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
