Registered Nurse – 3rd Floor Rehab (Day Shift)

About the role

Baptist Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the 3rd Floor Rehabilitation team. This day‑shift position provides direct patient care, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and ensures a safe, therapeutic environment for patients recovering in the rehab unit.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient‑centered nursing care using the nursing process and Baptist Health protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in unit huddles, safety rounds, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a 72‑hour bi‑weekly schedule, working from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Required profile

• New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Active Arkansas nursing license.
• BSN preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to function as a full partner within an interdisciplinary team.
• Not currently enrolled in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.

Required skills

• Healthcare CPR certification (required).
• ACLS certification (may be required for certain areas).
• PALS certification (may be required for certain areas).
• NALS certification (may be required for certain areas).
