About the role
Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 3rd Floor Rehabilitation unit on a day‑shift schedule (6:30 am – 7:00 pm). The RN will deliver safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Maintain patient safety and deliver compassionate, evidence‑based interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
- Follow department policies, document care accurately, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in specialty education and training as required.
Required profile
- New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or a Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Active Arkansas nursing license; BSN preferred.
- Ability to function as a full partner within an interdisciplinary team.
- Not currently enrolled in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.
- Healthcare CPR certification (additional ACLS, PALS, or NALS training provided as needed).
Required skills
- Basic nursing knowledge and clinical competence.
- Critical thinking and decision‑making abilities.
- CPR certification (mandatory).
- Willingness to obtain ACLS, PALS, or NALS certifications when required.
