About the role

News Insights is seeking a full‑time Research & Content Contributor to join its editorial team in Kuwait City. The role involves gathering, verifying and synthesising information from diverse sources, then turning insights into clear, concise articles, briefs and reports that support the outlet’s editorial agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured research on assigned topics using primary and secondary sources.
• Verify data accuracy and uphold ethical standards.
• Draft articles, briefs, and reports in a clear, engaging style.
• Collaborate with editors and fellow contributors to refine story angles and editorial plans.
• Monitor news trends and propose relevant topics for coverage.
• Participate in editorial meetings and meet consistent deadlines.
• Support content planning and ensure alignment with audience needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, political science, economics or a related field.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough research and analyse information.
• Strong written communication skills with experience producing clear, structured content.
• Effective collaboration and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and capacity to work under time‑sensitive deadlines.
• Prior experience in research, reporting or content creation in a media environment is an advantage.
