Restaurant Manager – Full-Time in Kuwait

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead all daily operations of an upscale dining venue in Kuwait, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and profitability. This role is pivotal for delivering a consistent brand experience and driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations and ensure smooth service flow.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff across all departments.
• Maintain brand standards for service and food quality.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet targets.
• Control costs, including labor, food cost, and waste.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait Municipality and food‑safety regulations.
• Prepare operational reports on sales, staffing, and wastage.
• Coordinate with marketing for promotions and campaigns.
• Motivate and discipline the team to achieve high performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing upscale restaurants.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field preferred; a diploma in Hotel/Restaurant Management is acceptable with relevant experience.
• Relevant certifications in Food Safety, HACCP or Restaurant Operations are highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Experience with multi‑cuisine or Asian dining concepts is a plus.
