Rigger – Lifting & Rigging Specialist for Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

Seagull International LLP is seeking experienced Riggers to join long‑term oil & gas projects in Kuwait. The successful candidate will perform lifting and rigging tasks on‑site, ensuring safe and efficient material handling in both oil‑field and construction environments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute rigging and lifting operations for equipment, pipe, and structural components.
• Inspect and maintain rigging gear, hoists, and lifting accessories according to safety standards.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers to plan lift sequences and load calculations.
• Ensure compliance with GCC safety regulations and company procedures during all activities.
• Report any incidents, near‑misses, or equipment defects promptly.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of proven rigging experience within GCC oil & gas or construction projects.
• Hands‑on knowledge of safe lifting practices, load charts, and rigging equipment.
• Ability to work safely in high‑risk industrial environments.
• Valid GCC work permit or eligibility to work in Kuwait.
