RN Flex Team – Night Shift

About the role

The RN Flex Team provides safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care during the night shift at Baptist Health. Working within the Resource Team, the registered nurse utilizes the nursing process and Baptist Health training to deliver high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on a 72‑hour bi‑weekly schedule.
• Apply the nursing process, clinical competence, and critical thinking to assess and treat patients.
• Float within the assigned specialty or across campuses within a 50‑mile radius as needed.
• Participate in specialty‑specific education and ongoing training provided by the organization.

Required profile

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing in Arkansas.
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience and at least 1 year in the specialty applied for.
• BSN preferred.
• Willingness to float between specialties and locations within the defined radius.

Required skills

• CPR certification (required).
• ACLS certification (training provided where needed).
• PALS certification (training provided where needed).
• NALS certification (training provided where needed).
