Safety Engineer – HSE Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Safety Engineer to lead the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies across our construction projects. The role ensures that all activities, from substation installation to tower erection, are performed safely and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and comprehensive risk assessments.
• Oversee safe execution of substation, tower erection, stringing, lifting, excavation, and work‑at‑height activities.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency preparedness.
• Coordinate HSE matters with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
• Experience conducting site inspections and risk assessments.
• Ability to investigate incidents and implement corrective measures.
• Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder coordination.
