Safety Supervisor – Farwaniya, Kuwait

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Safety Supervisor to lead workplace safety initiatives across our construction and industrial sites in Farwaniya, Kuwait. The role involves ensuring compliance with local labor laws, ministry regulations, and company standards while promoting a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety regulations across sites and departments.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near‑misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
• Supervise and guide site staff on safe practices and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate with HR, Procurement, and Civil/Structural departments for safety compliance.
• Maintain records of safety drills, PPE distribution, and hazard control measures.
• Report safety performance to the Project Manager/HR Department.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or industrial safety supervision within Kuwait.
• Knowledge of Kuwait labor law and ministry safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills; English required, Arabic preferred.

Required skills

• First Aid certification.
• Fire Safety certification.
• NEBOSH or OSHA certification.
• Risk assessment.
• Safety inspections.
