Safety Supervisor (Marine and Ports)

About the role

Egis Group is seeking a Safety Supervisor for its marine and ports operations in Kuwait. You will develop, implement and oversee safety programs to ensure a secure work environment and compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain safety policies, procedures and programs aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard assessments and incident investigations, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and onboarding for new employees and refresher sessions for existing staff.
• Maintain detailed safety records, prepare performance reports and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role in a corporate or industrial setting.
• In‑depth knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, including OSHA and local Kuwait regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills with a commitment to high safety standards.
