Sales Engineer Fire Protection

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer specialized in fire protection and fire‑&‑gas engineering consultancy. The role focuses on generating new business, building client relationships, and converting opportunities into awarded projects across oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial, power, infrastructure and commercial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for fire protection and fire‑&‑gas consultancy services.
• Generate qualified leads through market research, networking, industry events and client engagement.
• Conduct client meetings to understand project requirements and propose engineering solutions.
• Prepare, submit and negotiate technical and commercial proposals, and drive them to purchase‑order award.
• Maintain an opportunity pipeline, provide sales forecasts and progress reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and upcoming projects.
• Support pre‑qualification submissions, vendor registrations and framework agreements.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences and industry networking events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Fire Protection, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in business development, sales or technical marketing within fire protection and fire‑&‑gas consultancy.
• Proven experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, Power, Infrastructure or Commercial projects.
• Familiarity with client standards such as NFPA, API, IEC, FM, ISO and local industrial standards (e.g., KNPC, KOC) is an advantage.
• Strong track record in proposal preparation, client presentations and contract negotiations.
