Sales Excellence Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Excellence Manager to lead the optimisation of our sales operations across Traditional Trade, Modern Trade, E‑Commerce and emerging channels. The role will use data‑driven insights, technology and best practices to boost productivity, improve performance management and ensure outstanding customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise territory structures, coverage models, outlet segmentation and beat plans.
• Improve numeric and weighted distribution, call productivity and cost‑to‑serve.
• Develop and maintain sales performance scorecards, dashboards and KPI tracking mechanisms.
• Analyse performance trends, identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Transform market and sales data into actionable insights and monitor key metrics such as coverage, strike rate, assortment and on‑shelf availability.
• Lead implementation, adoption and continuous enhancement of Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools and reporting systems.
• Establish data‑governance standards and ensure field data accuracy.
• Support annual and quarterly sales target setting and incentive programme design.
• Partner with Trade Marketing to monitor execution standards and improve ROI of trade initiatives.
• Oversee the dispatch office to ensure accurate order allocation, timely route releases and high on‑time delivery rates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Sales Excellence, Sales Operations or Sales Management within a multinational FMCG organisation in the GCC region.
• Strong understanding of Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), Route‑to‑Market (RTM), sales analytics and commercial performance management.
