SAP MM Lead Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Lead Consultant to drive the procurement, inventory and supply‑chain workstream of large‑scale S/4HANA transformations in Kuwait. In this customer‑facing position you will act as a trusted advisor to the client’s procurement leaders, shaping future‑state logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end S/4HANA MM implementation from solution design through realization, deployment and hyper‑care.
• Own the MM workstream across Explore (fit‑gap, design, standardisation), Realise (build, configuration, integration, testing) and Deploy (cut‑over, go‑live, stabilisation).
• Design and implement centralized procurement operations, vendor lifecycle management, contract and sourcing optimisation.
• Define plant‑based inventory structures, valuation models, MRP, procurement and inventory optimisation.
• Coordinate integration with FI, SCM and Analytics workstreams.
• Develop and execute data migration strategy for materials, vendors and open transactions.
• Manage defect resolution, SIT/UAT completion and production readiness.
• Mentor the delivery team and ensure knowledge transfer to business users.

Required profile

• 9‑15 years of experience, with 10‑15 years in 3+ full‑cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• Proven ability to lead onsite delivery in complex transformation programmes.
• Experience in aviation, asset‑heavy or procurement‑driven industries.
• Strong track record of balancing business standardisation versus customisation.
