Scaffolding Supervisor

About the role

Anton Oilfield Services Group is hiring a Scaffolding Supervisor for its On Sync Energy Management Services Company, based in Kuwait. The supervisor plans, directs and monitors scaffolding work during plant maintenance, shutdowns and other maintenance activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with approved procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate contractor personnel and scaffolding activities across assigned work areas.
• Plan, direct and monitor scaffolding works during plant maintenance, shutdowns and other maintenance activities.
• Review work scopes and ensure activities follow approved procedures.
• Monitor site HSE compliance and safe working conditions.
• Ensure adequate manpower, tools, equipment and scaffolding materials are available and distributed.
• Coordinate multiple work teams across locations and give clear instructions for timely execution.
• Support other mechanical maintenance supervisors when needed.
• Assess plant layouts and design suitable scaffolding frames and arrangements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, petrochemical or refinery industry, including at least 4 years in a similar supervisory position.
• Strong experience supervising scaffolding during plant maintenance and shutdowns.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of scaffolding systems, materials, site layouts and safe erection requirements.
• Strong manpower coordination, work planning and supervisory skills.
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and safe work practices.
