Science Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Science Teacher to join two outstanding schools in Kuwait for the academic year starting August 2026. The schools follow the National Curriculum of England, hold an Outstanding rating and BSO status, and offer a supportive expatriate teaching community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver secondary science lessons, including A‑Level content, in line with the English National Curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to departmental meetings and school-wide initiatives.
• Support newly qualified teachers in completing their ECT induction.

Required profile

• Degree and PGCE/QTS obtained in the UK or Ireland.
• Teaching experience as a secondary Science teacher in UK or Irish schools.
• A‑Level teaching experience preferred.
• Open to single or married applicants without dependents.

Required skills

• Strong subject knowledge in secondary science disciplines.
• Ability to deliver the English National Curriculum effectively.
• Classroom management and lesson‑planning expertise.
