Secondary English Teacher – IGCSE (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Secondary English Teacher to deliver the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum to motivated students in Kuwait. The position starts in August 2026 and offers the chance to work in a vibrant, multicultural international school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English language and literature for secondary‑level students.
• Prepare students for IGCSE examinations through targeted instruction and assessment.
• Foster critical thinking, creativity and a love of reading and writing.
• Manage the classroom effectively and adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles.
• Contribute to the wider school community and participate in professional development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English Literature.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching secondary students, preferably with the IGCSE curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a multicultural setting.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth.
