Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

As a Senior Accountant you will manage the full accounting cycle, prepare accurate monthly financial statements, and ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis, contributing to the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee general ledger entries, reconciliations and month‑end close activities.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to guarantee accurate financial data.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong understanding of local accounting regulations and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Experience with general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and perform variance analysis.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and audit support processes.
