Senior Accountant

About the role

The company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Kuwait. This permanent position focuses on accounting, financial analysis, and reporting within highly regulated sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, banking or insurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate financial statements and ensuring compliance with local and industry‑specific regulations. Working closely with the finance department, the role will leverage ERP systems and advanced Excel models to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accounting and financial analysis tasks to support business decisions.
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports in line with regulatory standards.
• Manage compliance and complex reporting requirements for regulated industries.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Background in healthcare or other highly regulated industries (pharmaceuticals, banking, insurance).
• Demonstrated ability to work within strict regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and detail.

Required skills

• High proficiency in ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
