Senior Business Analyst – Order Management System (OMS)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead the design and optimisation of Alghanim’s Order Management System (OMS) across an omnichannel and marketplace ecosystem. You will ensure seamless order orchestration between owned inventory and third‑party sellers, delivering a unified experience for customers and sellers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT for the full order lifecycle, including allocation, fulfillment, cancellations and returns.
• Conduct structured business analysis – stakeholder interviews, requirement documentation, process flows and user stories for e‑commerce, store‑pickup, warehouse and delivery journeys.
• Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, vendors and cross‑functional analysts to integrate Fluent Commerce (or equivalent), Commercetools, SAP, FarEye and Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Drive enhancements for BOPIS, ship‑from‑store, reserve‑online and return‑anywhere capabilities.
• Support UAT planning, deployment readiness and post‑go‑live validation of order‑lifecycle performance.
• Monitor OMS KPIs (allocation accuracy, split ratio, turnaround time) and recommend continuous improvements.
• Work with the Mirakl marketplace team to streamline seller order routing, SLA compliance and return logistics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 8–10 years of overall experience with at least 4 years focused on Order Management Systems in retail, e‑commerce or supply‑chain environments.
• Proven expertise in requirements engineering (BRD, user stories, acceptance criteria) and process mapping for order flows and reverse logistics.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Fluent Commerce (mandatory) or equivalent OMS such as Manhattan, Sterling, Increff, Salesforce OMS.
• Marketplace platforms: Mirakl or similar.
• Retail systems: Commercetools, SAP, Salesforce, WMS, TMS (FarEye).
• Data & KPI analysis for order metrics and SLA tracking.
• Agile tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Project.
