Senior Commercial Manager – Kuwait

About the role

Tabby is launching its fintech platform in Kuwait and needs a senior commercial leader to be the local face of the business. The Senior Commercial Manager will work closely with regional account, sales and partnership teams while directly engaging merchants on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Tabby’s on‑site commercial representative, building and maintaining relationships with key merchants and partners in Kuwait.
• Serve as the escalation point for merchant issues that require a local presence.
• Promote Tabby at events, open doors and strengthen the brand’s commercial footprint.
• Identify gaps and untapped opportunities in the merchant portfolio and relay them to the appropriate teams.
• Collaborate with account management, sales and partnership teams to drive deal closure and account growth.
• Own and be accountable for GMV (and potentially revenue) targets for the Kuwait market, achieved through coordination rather than direct sales.
• Resolve merchant relationship challenges, acting as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a commercial role such as account management, sales or partnerships.
• Exposure to online and/or offline retail environments.
• Solid understanding of e‑commerce sales funnels and how merchants acquire, convert and retain customers.
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with senior merchant stakeholders.
