Senior DevSecOps Engineer – Secure CI/CD & OpenShift

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement and optimise secure CI/CD pipelines for a leading organisation in Kuwait. The role bridges development, operations and security, ensuring that software delivery is fast, reliable and compliant across development, staging and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve secure CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, BitBucket and Tekton.
• Integrate automated security checks (SAST, DAST, SCA, MAST) into build and deployment workflows.
• Manage and administer OpenShift platforms, ensuring high availability, performance and scalability.
• Oversee containerisation with Docker and orchestration with OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain security tooling including SonarQube, Checkmarx, Prisma Cloud, HashiCorp Vault and container/infrastructure scanning solutions.
• Automate security testing, compliance reporting and DevSecOps toolchain maintenance.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5‑7 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Hands‑on experience with OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep knowledge of security best practices, frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and OWASP.
