Senior ETL Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer to lead large‑scale data integration projects. The successful candidate will design, build, and optimise ETL workflows across multiple platforms, ensuring high data quality and performance in a complex enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica (PowerCenter, IICS, Cloud) and other tools such as SSIS.
• Manage and optimise database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase.
• Write, tune, and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Perform data integration, migration, and transformation across diverse systems.
• Implement data cleansing, validation, and quality‑assurance techniques.
• Conduct performance tuning of ETL workflows and SQL statements.
• Configure and manage batch scheduling tools (Control‑M, Autosys, cron).
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Shell, or JavaScript.
• Integrate data via REST and SOAP APIs.
• Maintain metadata management and data lineage documentation.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring for ETL jobs.
• Collaborate using version‑control systems (Git, SVN) and work with cloud ETL platforms (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with ETL tools and database systems.
• Strong background in Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase and advanced SQL development.
• Proven ability to handle large‑volume data sets and high‑throughput batch processing.
• Experience with scheduling tools, scripting languages, and API integration.
• Familiarity with metadata management, data lineage, and cloud‑based ETL platforms.
